Davis Naish is a songwriter and producer originally from Nashville, TN living in Los Angeles, CA. Raised in a musical home, Davis learned from his father, producer Phil Naish, the art of production and how songs developed into records.
In 2016 Davis signed his first publishing deal with Hall of Fame songwriter Jeffrey Steele, and later joined a production house formed by his mentor David Hodges. Drawing influences from Brian Eno, Greg Kurstin, and Paul Epworth, Davis’ production style is song forward and ever-evolving.
Davis produced the Joshua Bassett (Warner) EP, "Sad Songs in a Hotel Room," as well as co-wrote and produced the three lead singles "Doppelgänger," "Secret" & "Set Me Free." He co-wrote/produced, “Hearts Get Broken” by Thomas Day, "Reminds Me of Us" by Violet Days x Davis Naish, "Over the Moon" by Lily Meola, "Just 21" by Aidan Canfield, "I've Got News For You" by Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast/Fantasy), "Let Em Go" and "Chemicals" by Matt Hansen, "Lost" by Hayd, "Grown Up," “Ruin My Life,” "Grave" & "I F*cking Love You" by Zolita, and co wrote/produced the LP Scream Over Everything by Bre Kennnedy (Nettwerk). Davis also co-wrote/produced on Katelyn Tarver's Subject To Change LP, "I Wish You Well" & “Sing Along With Me" by Forest Blakk (Atlantic), and co-wrote Grammy-nominated Top 20 single “Stick That In Your Country Song” by Eric Church. Davis releases music under Davis Naish and The Night Lands.
