Kayiah

Introducing Kayiah, formerly known as Haula - a London/NYC-based Ugandan singer-songwriter. Described as a “soul-baring RnB Doyenne” by PRS Magazine, Kayiah has built up an underground reputation since her debut Soul/RnB cuts Darkest Hour and Freedom. With her first 5 releases, Kayiah has picked up considerable taste-maker support from the likes of NME Magazine, Lines of Best Fit, Pigeons and Planes, PRS M- Magazine and Wonderland followed by radio support followed via BBC R1 and Huw Stephens as well as BBC 6Music and BBC 1XTRA.  Her music has been featured on New Music Friday and numerous Apple Music and Spotify playlists including France / Germany and Brandnu. She’s also received support from MOBOS/ Help Musicians UK to work on new music and was nominated for a UMA in two categories: Best Female Solo Act and Best Urban Act 2018.

Her most recent work includes cuts with Universal Music Group artist, Roxie (winner of the Voice Poland and Eurovision) and Ad placements in America with Famous Footwear , sync placements on SKY Sports, a feature on Broken Ones by TV/Film composer Sheridan Tongue, promo placements on ABC, and heard in shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, The L Word Generation Q, Sex Lives of College Girls, Big Shot, Nancy Drew, and The Rookie.
