<image:title>Writers - Sam Barbera a.k.a. BEGINNERS</image:title>
<image:caption>BEGINNERS, the alt pop genre-blending creative force of Sam Barbera, a multi-instrumentalist Los Angeles based musician who also serves as one fourth of the rising band L.A. Exes. She has made a name for herself in LA’s music scene as a talented songwriter and captivating frontwoman, leading to collaborations with artists like Kygo, and tours with Tove Lo and Walk The Moon. Her ear for a great hook and left-of-center productions has led to over 55 million streams, and global campaigns for Apple, Samsung, Target, Acura, New Balance, Adobe, Mattel, Taco Bell, Kia, Coca-Cola, Verizon, The US Open, McDonalds, Miller Lite, Macy’s, Epic Games and more. BEGINNERS has also soundtracked numerous high profile Film/TV placements such as Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon (Trailer), Money Heist, Elite, The Walking Dead (Trailer), The Flight Attendant, Sex Lives of College Girls, The L Word Gen Q, Riverdale, Shameless, Special (Trailer), Sex/Life, Disobedience, Happytime Murders, Queer as Folk, Lucifer, Flack, New Girl and more. To make it all the more impressive, everything the self-driven Barbera has accomplished to date has been done on her own terms as an independent artist. Barbera’s musical journey began at 12 when she started playing guitar. She gravitated towards the punk and hardcore scene, which made her a bit out of place in the Indiana farm town she grew up in. After years both playing in bands and leading them, with BEGINNERS Barbera has found an outlet to completely follow the whims of her creativity. “I let myself cross genres and I’m not afraid to experiment with my sound,” she explains. That freedom can be heard in her newest music, as she moves fluidly through elements of pop, electro and punk. Latest single is “Dumb” by BEGINNERS BEGINNERS’S INSTAGRAM</image:caption>

<image:caption>Jesse Clasen and Jacob Rabadi are ready to get inside of your minds. The enigmatic electro-indie/alt-pop duo call themselves Foreign Air and are a different breed of cat from all the other acts that are out there. The two currently split their time between North Carolina (Clasen) and Washington DC (Rabadi), initially establishing their friendship while playing in different bands. While it’s difficult to nail down the exact genre, Billboard Magazine calls the music “Transcendent Indie-Rock-Meets-Electronica with a penchant for forceful guitars and haunting vocals.” The entire catalogue of music the duo has created together — from glitchy, spectral hit "Free Animal" all the way through their debut record, Good Morning Stranger — has been streamed over 150 million times on Spotify and Apple. Foreign Air is entering their next chapter with Nettwerk debut EP, WHY DON'T YOU FEEL THE WAY I DO? including single "Your Touch." Additionally, Foreign Air produced Jax Anderson's singles - "Can't Get Me High" feat. PVRIS and "Changes" feat. Joe P (Neon Gold Records). The music has soundtracked global advertising campaigns for Samsung, Nike, Vodafone, Microsoft, Hugo Boss and many other brands in addition to television features on Netflix, Showtime, ABC, TNT, Vice and Fox. <image:caption>Isla June’s Jenna Maranga has never wanted to be pinned down. “Songwriting is having the freedom to be fluid and explore,” they say, and genre is more a buffet of options than a structure to fit inside. This sense of infinite possibility is at the forefront of their music, in the flit of the summery backbeats, the pulse of saturated guitars, the shimmer of synths, the grit and power of their vocals soaring through the topline. All of this conjures the feeling of flying down the LA freeways of Maranga’s childhood — a little bit carefree, a little bit angsty about the things that slow you down. This is grunge-tinged pop for people who grew up screaming along to emo bands in church basements, for the hot weirdos everyone was afraid to admit they had a crush on in high school. Their music is a rallying cry for self-acceptance, a universal invitation to join them in the pit. Isla June’s music has been covered by press outlets including Billboard, Paste Magazine, Earmilk, and Buzzbands LA, and landed spots on various Spotify editorial playlists, amassing over 2 million streams across platforms. As an artist and songwriter, their music has been widely featured on television, serving as a sonic backdrop to shows like Riverdale, The L Word: Generation Q, Grey’s Anatomy, and Selling Sunset, as well as national ad campaigns for AT&T, Old Navy, and more. <image:title>CATALOGUE - DAVIE</image:title>
<image:caption>DAVIE is a true master chef, combining a myriad of flavors of musical deliciousness. From Prince-ly synth-funk, to Curtis Mayfield-esque Chicago sweet soul magic, to modern leftfield Frank Oceanic waves, to picture perfect, passionate R&B ballads the likes of which would certainly turn the heads of Lionel and Stevie. There’s a refreshingly sparse, clean production style in his work that defines the confident and steadfast hand of this young L.A.-based producer/writer/artist. His EP Black Gospel Vol. 1, released Fall 2017, has over two million streams. His song “Keep Running” was featured on the Madden NFL 18 soundtrack, and his single “Testify” was featured in the Wild Turkey “Sing Our Song” international TV campaign, with DAVIE appearing in the spot alongside Matthew McConaughey. The song was also featured in “Yo Google” Google Assistant ad with Kevin Durant. He was also part of The Bloomingdale's Fall Ad campaign. DAVIE has supported Selena Gomez on tour and has done backup sessions for Chris Brown, Cee- Lo Green, and Childish Gambino. DAVIE’S INSTAGRAM DAVIE’S WEBSITE</image:caption>

<image:title>CATALOGUE - Ryan Marshall Lawhon a.k.a. Mating Ritual</image:title>
<image:caption>Mating Ritual is an independent pop duo based in Los Angeles, California. Previously known as Pacific Air, Ryan Marshall Lawhon founded Mating Ritual in 2014 when his brother Taylor decided to go back to school. Though initially a solo project, Mating Ritual became increasingly more collaborative leading up to his debut album, 2017’s How You Gonna Stop It?, released on Ryan’s own label, Smooth Jaws. Working heavily with other LA songwriters and artists, the brothers realized they missed creating music as a duo and immediately began work on Mating Ritual’s sophomore album, Light Myself On Fire. After success with these releases in addition to release "October Lover” (Oct 2018) feature on Spotify’s New Music Friday, Mating Ritual wrote and produced their albums, Hot Content, The Bungalow and Songs for the Morning and Evening Times. The concept of Songs for the Morning and Evening Times (Mating Ritual’s 5th LP) is an album that's meant to be listened to in 2 complementary parts, Side A in the morning/day, and Side B in the evening/night. The duo has done a 21 city North American tour for their headline run of the Hot Content. Mating Ritual's cover of The Bravery’s "An Honest Mistake” was the single on the Hulu series Looking For Alaska Soundtrack. MATING RITUAL’S INSTAGRAM MATING RITUAL’S WEBSITE</image:caption>

<image:title>CATALOGUE - Taylor Lawhon a.k.a. Suede James</image:title>
<image:caption>Suede James is the musical alias of producer/songwriter Taylor Lawhon. As a writer/member with acts like Mating Ritual, Pacific Air, and producer of upcoming singer Lizzy Land, Lawhon has made a name for himself as a go to collaborator with a deft sense for melodic rhythms and impeccable sound design. After doing remixes under the name Pacific Air for acts like St. Lucia, Ra Ra Riot and Magic Man, Lawhon felt it was time to step out from behind the curtain and explore original content as well as more concretely define his remixing pedigree, thus coining the name Suede James. Showcased on his debut EP, “Trust SJ”, Taylor crafts songs that explore a world of dark, industrial inspired synth-scapes that keep your hips moving while questioning everything you know about songcraft and structure. <image:title>CATALOGUE - Patty Lynn a.k.a. The Wind and The Wave</image:title>
<image:caption>My name is Patty. I was about two years old when I first knew I wanted to be a singer. In school, I was enthralled with music classes and choir, and even played the viola in middle school and high school. My many influences include female artists like Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, Dixie Chicks, Celine Dion, followed by Dashboard Confessional, Death Cab For Cutie, Metric and others. The lyrics of Ben Gibbard and Emily Haines specifically blew my mind. I began my career in music with a band called The Soldier Thread (2007-2012). During that time, I met Dwight Baker. The two of us quickly became good friends, creating music together all the time. We took a few weeks off in late 2012 and wrote and recorded 11 songs. Those songs encompassed everything from indie-folk, to alt-country to blues-rock to Southern psychedelia. We stumbled into a record deal with RCA as The Wind and The Wave in 2013. Produced and mixed by Dwight Baker, our first full length album, From The Wreckage, was released in 2014. Our second full length album, Happiness Is Not A Place, was produced by Butch Walker, and released by Island Records in 2016. Our latest album was recorded in hotels and backstage dressing rooms across the US. Human Beings Let You Down, was independently released in Fall 2018. It’s the best batch of songs I’ve ever written. I’ve worked with such artists as Plain White T’s, Blue October, Missio, Bob Schneider, Steve Schiltz from Longwave, Erin McCarley, Ian Fitchuk, K.S. Rhoads, Aaron Espe, Air Dubai, Zeale, Alpha Rev, Bart Crow, The Roosevelts and more. Photo by Will Elmore PATTY’S INSTAGRAM WIND AND THE WAVE’S WEBSITE WIND AND THE WAVE’S WIKIPEDIA</image:caption>

<image:title>CATALOGUE - Kyle Neal</image:title>
<image:caption>Kyle Neal is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, originally from Bakersfield, CA. He has loved music for as long as he can remember but didn’t start making music until he got his first guitar at 12 years old. His sound is heavily influenced by Tom Petty/Wilco’s style of Rock & Roll/Americana. In 2006, he moved to LA and after playing in a couple bands and touring all over the US, he decided he wanted to focus all his energy toward writing. He spent a few years top lining and has since started producing music on his own. As he moves beyond acoustic instruments into the world of synthesizers and electronic instruments he has come to love and appreciate so many other types of music. In the end, the act of creating is the most fulfilling thing he can imagine and it is something he will never stop doing. He appeared live on the CW’s Hart of Dixie, wrote an original song for Josie and The Pussycats in the CW’s show Riverdale, has had music on Grey’s Anatomy, Lucifer, Station 19 and advertisements including an Australian Car campaign for the LDV T60 UTE. He recently finished a tour with Middle Kids playing guitar. He co-wrote the song "Patient" off of David Archuleta’s latest record, Therapy Sessions. KYLE’S INSTAGRAM KYLE’S WEBSITE</image:caption>

<image:title>CATALOGUE - Annie Williams</image:title>
<image:caption>Over the last 10 years, Annie Williams has been working as a designer/industrial seamstress and writing songs in her spare time. Two years ago she was steered into the performance art world when writer/director Emily Kai Bock casted her at a bar to play the lead role of Mandy Beal in her short narrative film, A Funeral for Lightning. The film went on to premiere at TIFF, was selected by TIFF as one of Canada's Top Ten Films, was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award, won Honorable Mention Best U.S. Short and Best Tennessee Short at the Nashville Film Festival, as well as winning the Oscar qualifying Grand Jury Award for Best Short Film at the LA Film Festival. Inspired after touring the film, Annie decided to put her seamstress business on pause to pursue making a record. After letting fellow Stable writer Aron Wright know she was stepping away from seamstress work, Annie was on the songwriting team in a matter of months. She has started various projects for The Stable, notably the pop project 'Ann Marr' with fellow Nashvillian Jeremy Larson. Her song “As You Fly” under her moniker ‘Regina Price’ was Tunefind's top TV song of the week in 2020 for its use in Virgina River. She has also completed a writing residency to finish her record demos at The Refuge Foundation for The Arts, in Appleton, Wisconsin and is about to commence recording her first full length album. Annie lives in Nashville, TN with her husband Ben, her son Van and their dog Dude. When she's not writing songs or acting she enjoys riding dirt bikes with her husband, playing legos with her son and 2-step dancing to honky tonk. ANNIE’S INSTAGRAM</image:caption>

<image:caption>Hailing from the dark, northern forests of Seattle, Kris Orlowski explores themes of authenticity, loss, and a search for connection that have always been central to his songwriting. "Orlowski’s style can best be described as earnest but moody; somber but sincere. Like the best Northwesterners of recent vintage (think: Death Cab’s Ben Gibbard, Damien Jurado, the late Elliott Smith), Orlowski uses roots music as something of a starting point, but ladles pop changes and varying production sensibilities over the air to switch up textures and moods." - Corey DuBrowa via Magnet Magazine Kris has been busy since the early 2000's, releasing five well-received EPs, three full length records, touring the country with various national acts many times over (Gregory Alan Isakov, Jamestown Revival, Sara Watkins, Little Green Cars) and writing songs for features on primetime television.
